Abstract:The popularization and application of computer and modern communication technology is regarded as the fifth media revolution in human history. The Internet it creates is like Foucault’s heterotopia, bringing opportunities for the development of feminism. The emergence of “female-oriented” space has become an excellent experimental field for young women to seek self-satisfaction, subvert gender hierarchy, deconstruct patriarchal culture, and reconstruct women’s value in the new era. The “female-oriented” narrative born out of this space is an important product. On the one hand, it maintains the cultural significance of feminist creation in a more radical way, and develops the contemporary young female culture. On the other hand, this seemingly closed and independent “female-oriented” space is not a paradise for “the second sex”. The intervention and management of mainstream ideology also brings about difficulties for the creation of cyber-feminism and its “breakthrough ”.
