The Empowerment of the Generative Artificial Intelligence in Digital Village Construction: Application Value, Realistic Obstacle and Response Path |

Abstract The ChatGPT has caused widespread social effects, guiding the world AI industry into a new track of generative AI. As for the technical mechanism, generative AI has powerful multimodal content generation capability, continuous human-computer dialogue interaction mode, and generalized technology application expansion space, which is presented in software form so that it can be flexibly applied to many social areas. Digital village construction is an important national strategy to promote the development of three issues of agriculture, the countryside and farmers in the context of digitalization. Based on the close connection between digital village construction and digital technology, digital village construction provides a new field for generative AI to play its social value. Embedding generative AI into digital village construction has application values such as generalized multi-scene applications, optimizing the quality of rural public services, and causing new changes in rural social life. The operation of technology depends on a good external environment. There are practical dilemmas in digital village construction such as section logic constraints, excessive pursuit of standardization, suspension of data in rural society, and technological social structure changes, which inhibit the empowering effect of generative AI. In response to these external constraints, a greater space of possibility should be created for the technological empowerment of generative AI by optimizing the multiple relationships within the system, strengthening the collaborative governance of government and enterprises, enhancing the empowerment value of data, and fostering the community of digital village construction.
