Abstract：The construction and cooperation of the “Belt and Road” is a new starting point for China's reform and opening up, and it is also a new opportunity for China to connect with the world. The Belt and Road Initiative is in line with the inherent logic of historical development and realistic needs. It is a global-oriented Chinese program that embraces the world in an open manner, and is an international cooperation platform connecting the “Chinese Dream” and the “World Dream”. It is an important endeavor to build a community of a shared future for mankind. Looking back on history, we can see the concept of Belt and Road Initiative is in line with the origin of Marxism. It is born out of the Marxist world history theory, contains the latest development of Marxism in the new era, and is a breakthrough in the theory of economic development, geopolitical theory and geo-economic theory. At the same time, the construction and cooperation of the “Belt and Road” is connected with the world both in hardware (such as infrastructure construction) and software (such as relevant policy support systems). The construction and cooperation of the “Belt and Road” is a great project to build a new international economic order and a community of a shared future for mankind. It helps promote world peace, prosperity and development.
