Abstract：It is of great significance to explore the impact of China-EU bilateral political relations upon Chinese OFDI. This paper first proposes a hypothesis on the basis of relevant theories and empirical researches, and then uses PCSE model to verify it in light of the panel data of OFDI between China and thirty one European countries from 2007 to 2013. The results indicate as follows: first of all, the length of bilateral relations is positively related with China’s investment expansion in Europe; next, the establishment of sister city relationship is positively related with China’s investment expansion in Europe; furthermore, the establishment of bilateral agreements are positively related with China’s investment expansion in Europe; last, the developing countries in Europe attract more FDI inflows from China than the developed countries.
