Abstract:The Western mainstream economics lacks spatial dimension, in which spatial factors have been ignored, whereas in the economic theories about space, spatial factors have been put into exogenous analysis under instrumental rationality. Space is static. It is only a dependent or utilized instrument. However, space has not only exogenous dimension, but also endogenous dimension. It participates in, influences and determines economic growth by changing its own structure. This logic mainly consists of asymmetric effect, self-organization effect, and externality effect, which evolve from spatial structure. That is, the endogenous logic of spatial economics is based on the space in dynamic evolution. This is the theoretical basis for the construction of endogenous paradigm of spatial economics. Only through gradual accumulation can this paradigm break down resistance to substitute another paradigm. On the basis of a clear logic, the endogenous research paradigm of space should choose more appropriate analytical approach and tools to further integrate the mechanism and the methods of the paradigm.
