| Relation between Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and Ideological and Political Education |

Abstract As a new field of research in recent years, innovation and entrepreneurship education needs to build a scientific interactive relation with ideological and political education. Innovation and entrepreneurship education is the content and a new carrier of ideological and political education of this era. It is an effective way to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education, and serves the function of inheriting and developing ideological and political education. For innovation and entrepreneurship education, ideological and political education serves the function of value guidance, guiding the scientific trend of “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” with the core value, and thus forming and establishing the value of innovation and entrepreneurship that goes along with the nature of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the features of current era. Ideological and political education and innovation and entrepreneurship education have shared goals, similar content, compatible methods, and conforming functions, and they thus can help each other in the process of development.
