| The United Front and the “Four Comprehensives”: Coordination and Innovation of Strategies |

Abstract The “Four Comprehensives” provide strategic objectives, system dynamics, legal and political guarantee for the work of our Party and state. The United Front is an important magic weapon for the success of the new democratic revolution, the socialist construction and reform and opening-up in China. As an important part of national governance system and a way of promoting the modernization of state governance, the United Front should play its functions of political consultation, political participation, democratic supervision, intelligence intensification, extensive contacts, and interests coordination to push forward the implementation of the “Four Comprehensives (comprehensively deepen reform, comprehensively govern the nation according to law, comprehensively strictly govern the Party, and comprehensively build a moderately prosperous society) ”. At the same time, the United Front must adapt to new situation, reinforce self-construction through reform and innovation so as to better serve the function of promoting the implementation of the “Four Comprehensives”.
