Abstract:The current predicament facing media industry is only the first half of innovation in media industry. More changes will take place in all directions after 2019. The Internet will celebrate its 50th birthday in 2019, which ushers in the second half of the innovation of media industry. The second half has three characteristics: 1. There are preconditions for audience to pay for valuable content, and media industry actively prepares new content. 2. All the huge amount of mechanical work will be eliminated in media industry, and only the positions directly serving people are retained. 3. Media industry should reach out to learn from other industries. It should learn operation from investment banks and Internet companies, in particular trial and error and adventures. In the new round of industrial innovation, adhering to people-oriented propagation principle is the survival strategy for media industry. Only when it provides valuable information to audience can media industry make spectacular transformation and take a lead in information consumption.
