Abstract Green transformation is an important path for the apparel industry to reduce textile pollution and build a healthy apparel practice ecology and body aesthetics. China’s textile and apparel industry is developing rapidly and has obvious advantages, generating huge output value every year, but it is urgent to reduce textile pollution, promote green transformation, and establish a new business model of ecological civilization of apparel. Incorporating African consciousness that respects nature and absorbing African green elements in the transformation can not only expand the ecological aesthetic space of Chinese apparel, but also promote the expression of a community of human destiny with multicultural respect at a deep level. The metaphorical arrangement of patterns, the symbolic expression of symbols, and the ecological concept of materials in the African clothing representation system contain a philosophy of life that respects the laws of nature and promotes ecological ethics. African consciousness and its green elements are integrated into the visual shaping process of Chinese clothing. It is a process of cross-border and in-depth integration of clothing culture. The core strengthens the subject consciousness and cultural consciousness, and translates African green elements locally. Create an ecological clothing brand, explore the African consumer market, and promote green consumption to become the inherent demand of the main body of clothing, and become the mainstream lifestyle and social fashion of people, to achieve the goal of building an ecological civilization society with “high harmony” between man and nature.
