Abstract：The digital age has opened up a broad space for cultural development. Based on virtual reality technology and the carrier of digital exhibits, virtual museums, art galleries, memorials and other virtual cultural spaces are in a stage of rapid development.Their value significance is increasingly prominent: extending cultural space, promoting knowledge flow, expanding meaning production and expanding cultural consumption, and their core value is to realize cultural value-added. Virtual cultural space connotation and value presentation need to be based on the narrative theme, with the help of rich multidimensional narrative media, using the “god perspective” “user perspective” “linkage perspective” and the theme of constructing space display meaning, and through the “causal-linear narrative” and “theme-juxtaposition narrative” the combination of time and space organization order of logical and artistic presentation. The meaning construction and spatial organization order of narrative theme is the embodied form of the narrative theory of virtual cultural space. In its construction practice, it has been transformed into a creative expression mechanism to display the theme of space, which can help users better interpret the narrative theme of space, understand the organizational form of space, and improve the quality of space experience. Virtual culture space uses virtual reality technology to construct, organize and deduce the space under the domination of narrative theme, which is a beneficial attempt to expand from real culture space to virtual culture space in practice. This exploration will provide beneficial support for the improvement of the quality of virtual culture space in the digital era.
